Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Quelvaro (“Quelvaro,” “Quelboo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Quelboo platform, including our website at quelboo.com, our mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
Quelboo is a booking platform that connects customers with independent local service businesses (such as barbershops, salons, massage, tattoo, nail, and handyman providers). This policy applies to customers who book services, businesses that offer services, and visitors to our website.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create and manage accounts and authenticate users.
- Enable bookings between customers and businesses, including confirmations, reminders, changes, and cancellations.
- Process payments, billing, subscriptions, gift cards, and related financial operations.
- Send transactional communications (email, SMS, and push notifications) about your bookings and account. SMS is limited to booking-related alerts you opt into; see our SMS Terms & Consent.
- Provide customer support and respond to requests.
- Maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service.

We process this information to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate business interests, to comply with law, and — where required — with your consent.
SMS booking notifications are transactional only. We do not use your SMS opt-in to send unrelated marketing or promotional text messages through the Quelboo Booking SMS Alerts program.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below.
- With the business you book with (or the customer who books you): to fulfill a booking, the relevant customer and business receive the information necessary to provide and receive the service (such as name, contact details, and appointment details). Each business is an independent operator responsible for its own handling of customer information.
- Service providers (subprocessors): we use trusted vendors to operate the Service, including:
- Hosting and database: Supabase (application backend and data storage).
- Payments: Stripe (payment processing and billing).
- Messaging: Twilio (SMS delivery), Apple Push Notification service, and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications).
- Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Quelboo, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
3.1 Mobile information and SMS consent
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number is shared only with Twilio for the sole purpose of delivering the SMS booking alerts you have agreed to receive, and with the business involved in your booking as needed to provide the service.
4. Payments
Payment card processing is handled by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. When you make a payment, your card details are transmitted directly to Stripe and are subject to its privacy policy and security practices. We receive limited transaction information (such as confirmation, amount, and the last four digits of a card) but do not store full card numbers.
5. Cookies and Website Technologies
Our website and related pages may use cookies and similar technologies necessary to operate the site and remember preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings. The Quelboo mobile app does not use browser cookies; it stores session and preference data through the app’s normal storage mechanisms.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, and afterward as required to meet legal, accounting, tax, dispute-resolution, and security obligations. Booking and financial records are retained to preserve historical and transactional accuracy. SMS consent and delivery logs are retained as needed for compliance, troubleshooting, and audit purposes.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and infrastructure hosted with reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.

We will respond as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Marketing and notifications: You can opt out of marketing communications at any time. You can manage push notifications in your device settings, and SMS booking alerts by replying STOP or toggling SMS off in Profile → Notifications (see SMS Terms). You may still receive non-promotional, service-related messages necessary to operate your account and bookings.

Certain service categories on the platform (for example, tattoo services) may carry their own age requirements that the booking business enforces separately from this account-age threshold.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
